Welcome the Texas Show Car Associations website. Here you can find all the information you need to show your car, truck or motorcycle at the 34th Annual Fort Worth Rod and Custom Car Show. We also have information for vendors if you wish to display your products. Feel free to browse through our site, if you need any additional information do not hesitate to contact us.
The Texas Show Car Association would like to take this opportunity to welcome and invite you to the 2008 Fort Worth Rod & Custom Show featuring cars and motorcycles. This year’s show will be Feb. 29th, March 1 & 2, 2008, with move in Wednesday Feb. 27th and Thursday Feb. 28th.
We will use the Fort Worth police dept. for security again this year. Police officers will be in the building 24 hours a day from move in-until the show closes Sunday night.
For entertainment we will have The Flipside Band playing 3 times: Friday at 7:30 and Saturday at 1:30 and 7:30. Other entertainment will be posted at a later date. John Roberts, one of our directors, will be doing double duty this year. Along with his show duties, he will be the DJ playing all your favorite oldies. John has many years of experience. Jim Rowlett will have a short church service beginning at 10:30 on the main stage Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome. Trophy presentation will begin at 4pm Sunday, March 2nd on the main stage.
The Christian Classic Cruisers will be our host club again. We cannot say enough good things about this great group of men and women. They do everything at our show, from selling and taking tickets, watching the doors, laying out the building, placing chains and sanctions etc...You will recognize them in their Christian Classic Cruisers white and maroon logo'd shirts.
With the amount of interest we have already received about our 2008 show. Both from exhibitors and vendors, this years show looks to be the best ever.
For those of you new to Fort Worth, the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall of the Will Rogers Complex is located at 3401 W. Lancaster Avenue. From downtown, go 2 miles west on Highway 30 to the University Drive exit. Go north on University for 1 mile to Lancaster Ave. The Will Rogers Complex is on the left.
